vendor changing to utc

Our vendor is changing their date fields (all) to UTC - We have many customized reports pulling EST from an Oracle database. I am wondering if there is a way at the driver level , apache tomact level or anyway to take all reports and anytime a date field is pulled from the vendor database it is converted to EST.

Check Oracles help file, there may be a Client conversion flag you can enable.

Nothing in CR that can do it since the Client is returning the date in that format.

Thanks - this was from a while ago. I figured that was the case after researching it but am glad to get confirmation.

oops, didn't notice this was a very old thread. Something is wrong with the way this forum handles old questions.

You can use report inspection tools to identify all reports where that date field is actually used.

Then replace those cases with a formula that takes care of the time offset. It the field is referenced within an expression, there are tools that can replace the reference to the field with the formula automatically.
