dependent type 91 not visible in Family/Dependents Web Dynpro iView

Hi Experts,

ERP2005/EP7.0 SP11

I am trying to test the standard functionality provided by ESS web dynpro iviews. I am working on Personal Information workset. In the link "family/dependents", the ESS user is not able to see the Dependents Types (91) through portal. The Dependent type is maintained in the backend. Still he is not able to see, and also father and mother. I was wondering if the standard fucntionality provides to view only Child and Spouse.

What are the areas that need to be looked for customizing this scenario. Could you please let me how to implement this scenario.

Do I work on the Backend Business Logic or Front End display (NWDI Customization)

Thanks in advance.

I defined the use case B1 for the infotype 21 and Subtype 91 in the SPRO>Personal Management>Employee Self-Service>Service Specific Settings>Own Data>Define Active Subtypes and Application Cases. It solved my problem.

Thanks to all.

Did you configure the backend for ESS to allow that infotype/subtype as well as the use case?

Christopher,

Thanks for replying to me. I see the dependent type 91 in the infotype 21.

Could you tell me exact path for configuring Backend for ESS to allow the infotypes and Use Cases?

I did not find a way so far. I am still waiting on you. Could you tell me location in SPRO for this configuration.

Thanks!
