Stock posting...

Hie MM Guys..I had a problem while posting stock into my plant.

I have been chasing this case on SD catogiry... and they sujjested me to leave the message here.....

1. I have created one AC 16000 at FS00

2--> I have included 16000 at OBYC

with ---> 0001 BSC 3100 160000 160000

Now its giving Error message at MB1c-posting stock "field selection for mvmt type 561/acct16000 differs for ext.GA ammount in LC (023)"

R u aware of this crappy error?? please help me out..

What the error message is telling you is that there is a mismatch in field selection between the mvt type and GL account.

- Go to SE38. Run report RM07CUFA. Enter your company code, mvt type (561), special stock indicator (leave blank if you are just posting to normal stock) and GL account (16000).

- On the 'Field Selection Comparion: Movement Type - G/L account' screen, you will notice the field 'Ext. GA amount in LC' highlighted in red (error). Basically, the field selection setting (suppressed, reqd, optional entry) is different for the mvt type and GL account.

- Click on the 'Accnt Diff column' corresponding to this 'Ext. GA amount in LC' field and change the setting for this field from say 'suppresed' to 'optional' entry' (match this with the corresponding entry for the mvt type). This should fix the error.

In that case, Click on the 'MvT' column corresponding to the 'Ext. GA amount in LC' and check the setting for this field. This should also be set to 'optional' to match the GL account field selection.

I am not sure what you are doing. Is the field 'Ext. GA amount in LC' highlighted in red to indicate the inconsistency? Are you sure that the field selection for this field is set to 'optional' for both mvt type and GL account?

Let me know how it goes.
