UDF query in Picklist doesn't appear in PLD

Hi Experts,

I created a UDF in the salesorder document which reflects the location in the warehouse (thnx again...). Then I made another UDF that reflects the location in the Picklist. With a query I managed to get the UDF automatically filled with the needed data and on screen it appears nicely.

Then I changed the layout in the PLD for the Picklist so that my UDF (filled with the data) would be visible there too. I used the table Picklist and the UDF field, but that is not working out properly. So I guess I missed something.

Do I have to do something with 'Relate to' or 'Next segment' in the content area of the Properties in PLD? I read the explanation about these options in the 'How to Customize Printing Templates with the PLD' but it doesn't make much sense to me, probably because my knowledge of SQL is still at novice-level.

So your help would (again) be very much appreciated!

Hi,

This question is not about the SDK - and thus the "SAP Business One" Forum is a much better fit.

BTW: Sorry, I myself don't know the answer to your question... - otherwise I would have answered it

In the meantime I solved the issue:

When you have the data on screen, it is not saved yet in de db. So you have to take some action (just pointing a dot in the remarks filed will do ) and push the actualise button. The window stays open and - more importantly - the table is filled with the data, so now it appears not only on screen but also in the PLD field.
