Is it possible for serial number field to show up in the inbound delivery, if the serial number profile is maintained in material master?

Or is it possible to capture serial number in inbound delivery document?

Hi,

You need to do settings for the following Serialization procedures other than maintainting the profile in the Material master through the transaction code OIS2

SDAU - Serial numbers in SD orders

SDCC - Completeness check for delivery

SDLS - Maintain Delivery

The settings are

Hi

In the normal scenarion, the serial number will be entered in the delivery. You can enter it by VL02N, extras, Serian numbers.

Use IQ01 for creating the serial number.

By Inbound delivery do you mean an Inbound sales return or Inbound PO?

If you have maintained the right serial profile and activated the processes in the serial profile configuration, then it is possible to have the Inbound delivery prompt for serial numbers.

it is for inbound PO.

When the serial number profile was assigned in material master, it did show up in Migo Screen and not in Inbound delivery screen. Can you let me know where exactly it shows in inbound delivery?

The serial number prompt should appear when you attempt to make a goods receipt.
