i am trying to install the sneak preview of the Java EP7 Portal on my own laptop to evalutate for our company (we are considering upgrade for ep6).
I have different partioions set up on this disk to run linux. even though they dont show up as mounted under windows the sapinst file browser seem to find them and give then drive letters.
before i get to the step "select drive for database" the install fails saying that it cant get the name for the drive.
has anyone encountered this before? i just need to get sapinst to ignore these partitions that it shouldn't be looking at anyway.
the error is
ERROR 2007-07-13 16:16:36
FSL-00001 System call failed. Error 87 (The parameter is incorrect.
) in execution of system call 'GetVolumeNameForVolumeMountPoint' with parameter (W:\), line (276) in file (synxcfsmnt.cpp).
