Afaria Client update on Windows 7 Laptop

One users windows laptop is not getting updated to latest Afaria Client version. Still its showing old client version. User can connect and logs shows successful. User tried manual connect and rebooted the laptop but till same issue.

Rest of the users has no issues. Only one user has issue.

Please suggest.

Hi,

What is the difference between the issue's device and other devices? (OS? driver? etc.)
When it is unclear, I think that you should install latest Afaria client in the issue's device by manual.

May i know Which drivers need to check ?

I don't know that. I nominated a driver for an example.
Because you find the difference of this device, you will get closer to this cause.

Could you please give me extract troubleshooting steps so i can investigate, Could you please provide me any KBA or can you check with Afaria Expert and provide me the solution.

Hi VP,

There is little information of this problem now.
When this device failed in enrollment, does Afaria Admin output log?

When log does not have a message, you must confirm following KBA.

Hi Atsushi,

No issue with enrolling, It is already with SP4 HF19, right now we upgraded to SP16, all windows laptop afaria client updated to SP6 version, but for one user still it is not updating to new version. But that user can able to connect in SP4 version afaria client.

Many device around 200 having latest Afaria Client in Windows Laptop (SP16 Afaria Client), but one user windows laptop having old Afaria client which was before SP16 that is SP04 HF19 afaria client .

Can you assist me to find me what went wrong and why one user laptop is not updated the Afaria client.

When you updated Afaria client, was the device connected to the network correctly?

Yes it is connected to network correctly. Is there any error i can find and investiagte ?

I do not understand the reason that this problem produces.
You should get detailed information with reference to following KBA.
