Re: Create new R/3 Source Systems

Hi Gurus,

In my current project implementation configuration moved to production. Almost ready to Go Live. Then the requirement change and data need to be pulled from a new R/3 client.

The Source system is not created in BI Devlopment client. I created RFC connection.

Trying to create a new source system. Give required parameters. The connection was not successful.

These are the parameters

Background unser in the source system : ALEREMOTE

Background user in BW : ALEREMOTE

Is this set up correct?

What would be the password to be given for the:

Background user in the source system

Password for BW user

Kindly advise.
