Transfer order sometimes does not get confirmed, even after sy-subrc = 0

Dear Gurus,

We have developed a BSP application from which we are creating GRN and WM is configured to created automatically for GRN so we are wait for 4 seconds for that to happen and then we are confirming the created transfer order using the 'L_TO_CONFIRM' FM.

The above scenario works most of the times but sometimes even though the FM returns sy-subrc as 0 the TO is not confirmed.

Could any help me to understand the reason behind such behaviour?.

Why don't you use automatic confirmation? With the correct customizing you would get an email telling you why the confirmation did not work.

what do you do after "it does not work"? confirming it manually? and this works without manipulating any other field value? then your 4 seconds may not be sufficient enough. Do you really have such a slow database?

Dear Jürgen L,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

The TO is created in the different screen and doing confirmation allowing user to change the suggested bin in the BSP application. Hence we are not confirming the TO automatically.

I wanted to know the reason behind such behavior where the TO confirmation FM is not returning error but still the confirmation is not done.

Please check KBA. It will help to analyze your root cause.
