Remapping Tables from Test to Prod

We just upgraded our ERP system and with that all our Crystal Reports had to be remapped from the old database to the new database. We remapped all the tables to the new database over several weeks.

However when we came in today to try to connect to the Production environment , Crystal Reports is forcing us to click through each table and map them to Production from Test.

I found online that this is a Crystal reports bug but the article was old, so I want to know if you have a work around for this? If not we have to update every report and tables within them. This is hundreds of reports.

Here is the article I found.

Thank you!

No easy way to say this but I think you have a big job on your hands. This works with Oracle not sure about other databases.

It is something you need to do when you design report so that it is portable across schemas

In this case I have a command but you will need to do this for all tables, double click the highlighted section and type name of table.

You can then move reports to any schema without having to remap each time
