Mulitple Screen Variants in Variant Transaction

I am tring to hide few tabs in transaction VA21.

I created few screen variants and assigned them to a variant transaction. But on executing the Variant Transaction, i am not seeing the changes made in the sub-screen Screen variants. Am i missing something?
