Hi Prashanth,
In Tx: FS00,
Menu Bar --->Settings -
> Hierarchy Display
Then select the radio button for "Display accounts in navigation tree" and then press enter.
Then system will display a message as "Message: The new settings will take effect transaction is restarted". Then come out of the transaction and again enter Tx FS00. Now you will be able to see your GL Account group.
Regards
Venkat
Same chart of accounts is assigned to company code
Also i tried what venkat said however the radio button display navigation tree is already checked
Some more information
When i tried FSP0 and tried to enter my chart of accounts it says
specify existing value( Though my chart of account is displayed in the drop down menu)

OB53 - Define Retained Earnings Account
Most companies use one retained earnings account. For this reason, X can be used as the key.
In the chart of accounts you enter X in the P+L statement account type field, and for account determination you enter the retained earnings account under the key X.
