Company Code allocation to the controlling area

Dear Gurus,

I was trying to delete an Company Code that was created newly... using EC01, but it does not allow me to delete with an error message...

"Company code 204 is assigned to a controlling area; deletion not possible"

How do we delete the allocation of Company Code to Controlling Area.

Hi,

If no transaction data is posted you can remove the assignment of Company code to Controlling Area in transaction code OKKP.

Select the Company Code and click on delete icon. You can also use Menu path > Edit > Delete.
