Maintenance order main work center from maintence plan

Hi,

If I create Maintenance Order from strategy base maintenance plan IP42 then in my maintenance order "main work center" will copy from maintenance plan. But I don't know it will copy from which field of maintenance plan. Can anyone help me.

1) Will main work center of Maint. Order copy from main work center of planning data of Maint. Plan

2) Will main work center of Maint. Order copy from main work center of Task List which I have include in my Maint. Plan

Hi Junaid,

When you create a Maintenance Item in the Maintenance Plan, the Main Work Center normally copied from the Equipment Master data (Organizational Tab). It is not mandatory to keep the same Main Work Center from the Equipment, you can also change it in the Maintenance Item.

When the Order is generated for this item the Main Work Center is picked from the Corresponding Maintenance Item. Order Operation Work center is copied from the Task List Operation details.
