Batch Number in Sales Transaction

Hi Experts,

When I create a Sales Document in CRM 5.0. Create an item, In the Item overview tab page there is a 'Batch' field. But it is an output field, I can not input value into it. How can I input the value in it?

Batches are assigned during packing so it is related to SD so should come when the order is converted into a delivery in backend ERP system. Otherwise if its a batch material, proper settypes should have been defined and assigned for it.

Hi Robin,

I need to enter the Batch number directly in Sales Transaction. Is it possible? If Yes, Would you please give me the solution.

And CRM Give two BADI of batch process in Sales Transaction. Which you can find in SPRO/CRM/Transactions/Setting for Sales transaction/BADI/Badi for Batch process. one if for batch number check, another is for batch number F4 help.

So if I can not enter the batch number in Sales Transaction directly. these two BADIs are not useful.
