Can we settle the service order to the service contract.

Normally we settle the service order ot the sales order, can the pricing conditions and the pricing agreements are copied into the sales order. But my doudt is whether is it possible to the settle the service order to a service contract, i think it is notpossible kindly let me know the procedure if it....

If there is no sales order with respect to the service order, then how billing will be performed.

could you please explain the issue briefely.

But the possible billing are.

First Process

1.Create service Contract

2.Create service order with reference to the Service contract(If the Product is assigned to the Product list tab in contract)

3.Make a customizing(Copy control) service order is free of charge.But the service contract is billed periodically according to Billing Plan.

Second Process

1.Create service order directely

2.Option create the service confirmation

3.Create invoice for Service confirmation.

Thanks for your response,

My condition actually IS, my user created an service order with respect to the service contract and in the settlement rule the settlement receiver was the service contract, there i didn't understand the explanation behind it.

Kindly if possible let me know how the settlement process for the normal service order which is created with respect to the repair order and the only service order which is created with respect to the service contract.

And in your statement you mentioned that "Make a customizing(Copy control) service order is free of charge", what this statement mean kindly explain.
