How to schedule SAP HANACleaner python script: #2399996 using xsengine

Hi All,

There is a SAP hanacleaner python script, which can be scheduled using crontab or hci flag.

But since we have multiple nodes for the Hana DB instance, we were looking option to schedule the script using xsengine so that there is no dependency on the nodes ,and incase one of the node goes down, script continues to work on other.

Please advise

Hi,

Using SAP HANA XS Job scheduler, you can scheduler any code present in the SAP HANA database as code in stored procedures or part of another xsjs function in xsjs file or library. It is unlikely you can python script in your linux system from XSEngine Job Scheduler to the best of my knowledge.
