xml forms : valid from / until - default value

In XML forms, I did use the Valid From / Until lifetime properties.

I can set default values for the today date : Caption = $locDate

I would like to set as default value "today + 10 days"

What do I have to enter in the Caption field ($locDate + 10 is not working ...)

in the moment (7.0 SP12), there is no possibility to do this.

Hi Vincent,

I have to do the same functionality as you have done.

I have to put current date in 'From date' & provide a 7+ current date in 'To Date'

So how to do about 'To Date' ?

Kindly provide any solution.

Hi Vishal,

You can only achieve it by editing the file "ProjectName"Edit.xsl inserting Javascript to fill that field with current date + 7 days. This file is located under /etc/xmlforms/ProjectName

I did not solved the problem.

After having opened the OSS message, the answer from SAP was that this was not possible ...

What I did was not have a default value for the To Date field, and make this field mandatory, so the author have to maintain it.

Or is SAP going to keep any provision for this in future version? Do we have any repository on SDN,

where i can read about future development plan for XML Form builder ?
