Back-up SQL 2005 with NTBACKUP and Volume Shadow Copy

Hi everybody,

I want to make a snapshot backup of a SQL 2005 database with SAP ECC6.

I want to use NTBACKUP to make the snapshot.

Does the database freeze at the moment of the snapshot?

Does anybody use this method?
