Expert's,
One of my result in a column is displying as 'X' in red colour. Some body suggested that it is because of formula collision and formula which has be to be run first has to be selected in Technical properties.I am getting where exactly this technical property is available.
Is Red 'X' because of the formula collision?
If it is so how can we get rid of it?
Points will be definitely assigned for the right anweres.
Thanks in advance.
hi Vasu,
check if it's cause by different unit/currency ?
use NODIM, in data functions - (unit without dimension) in the formula editor.
to change the 'formula collision', right click the key figure and 'properties',
there's formula collision with options 'not define', 'result from this formula', and 'result from competing formula'
hope this helps.

Hi vasu vassu
It seems to be bcoz of denominator value which u used in U r formula..
As per my understanding just Put NODIV() function.it will solve u r problem..
Hope itz clear a little atleast...!
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
X is because of divide by 0. In the formula use data function NDIV0(a) . where a stands for value of key figure.
This is how it works.
if value of a is non zero system will display actual value .
if value of a is zero system will display zerp value .
Hope that helps.

Hi,
One more reason of displaying "X" in bex is
Display value for cells of undeterminable value
Text for cells in an executed query for which no value can be
determined.
The text you specify is displayed in the Business Explorer if the
corresponding numeric value cannot be determined.
Hope that helps.
