Item Master - Cannot remove an item comprising others

Hi Everyone,

When i am updating the items through DTW getting following error

"Cannot remove an item comprising others"

Please check SAP note 1325861 - Cannot make an item a phantom item?

From the above error message, some of the values were entered in template is not correct. If possible share your complete here to check.

In PrchseItem field..backend its saved with value 'S' instead of Y Or N..so its giving me that error..later i updated that S to Y with the help of query,and later i tried to import that time i got "cannot remove an item comprising others"

I am making items as GST enable.

I am updating material type,HSN code,GST tax type fields

While updating first time I got this errors "Invalid valid value 'S' in Enum 'BoYesNoEnum', the valid values are 'N', 'Y' Invalid valid value 'S' in Enum 'BoYesNoEnum', the valid values are 'N', 'Y'oItems

Hi,

It means that the item is an end product or a component in a Bill Of materials. You first need to delete the Bill Of Materials of this item, or remove the item from the Bill Of Materials.
