S/4 HANA 1610 embedded EWM Master Data setup without CIF

Hi Experts

I am working in embedded EWM 1610. I could able to create successfully inbound delivery and its getting triggered in SMQ2. I got the error there No unique partner found for the plant XXXX.

In my understanding for embedded EWM no CIF interface is required. In gereral we can only create BP and assign necessary roles for BP. Now somehow system is unable to find the mapping. How to enable this.

I read many forum every where its said in BP under identification tab maintain the CRM004 and plant. But this setting is required is only for CIF or even for embedded EWM?.

Next same issue will occur for material master also. How to map material master to product code for configuration. I read many forum every where its mentioned only for ECC to EWM via CIF nothing related to embedded. So suggestion would be helpful.

You have to maintain the plant in the supplier role of the business partner. This fills table T001W-LIFNR.

In Embedded EWM system, system is determining BP via T001W-LIFNR.

Can you check if it is properly assigned?

Looking at your screen i can see one more error related to item type. Please correct the same using below node and let us know if you still face issue

SCM Extended Warehouse Management → Extended Warehouse Management → Interfaces → ERP Integratio → Delivery Processing → Map Item Types from ERP System to EWM

Hi Vijay,

It would required to maintain plant for the BP ( with role : FLVN01 ) under vendor-general data, then it would act as a plant vendor ( Party entitled to dispose ) in EWM.
