Hi experts,

Secnario: proxy to JDBC,

Single stack 7.4

ICO configuration

recently we have moved our server one location to another location, from there onwords in PI messages is processing slowly its taking more time to process (4 to 5 hr)

before moving server PI performance is excellent

we have checked our CPU traffic, PIP system configuration, threds etc. everything is fine

we have raised OSS for asking its cause of server moving?

SAP said No

Messages are successfully processing, there is no failed messages only taking long time to process

please find the below Q&A b/w me and SAP (OSS)

For further investigation, please provide the following information:

two channels

1) CC_Adexa_Jdbc_Rcvr 2)CC_DW_Jdbc_Rcv

2. Is there any error reported during message processing? Or it was just slow and no error was thrown?

no errors just slow

3. Have you performed any changes to the system before this performance issue? Were the channels able to work fine before?

Initially PIP server is located on XXX Location and last sunday (07/16/2017). we have moved our PIP server to XXXXXX with new IP Address.

From then we are facing this issue and Remainging all chanels are working fine except Adexa and DW process loads. Please help to fix the slowness.

4. You mentioned this issue happens in PIP system, which is a 7.4 Single stack system. However when I tried to connect to PIP system, I can only see the system is a 7.3 system. Could you describe a little bit on this point?

we have already 7.31 to 7.4 single stack, not sure how you can see 7.3, please check again

5. Please provide the screenshot of the channel configurations. Please cover all the tabs.

please find the attached doc. for CC configuration.

6. If the performance issue is happening now. Please trigger thread dumps on each J2EE server node every 20 seconds for 4 ~ 5 times and upload the dumps.

we have generated the heap dumps manually, but file size is huge which we are not able to send, please provide the link to upload the heap dumps.

Regards

please also check with your Network team for any latency/data packet drops, which could be happening in your new location.

Is it possible to do a simple JDBC test from your server outside of PI, like installing a test JDBC client such as SOAPUI?

This will let you narrow down to the problem, if the JDBC connection from your client tools is quicker, then you can let SAP know that the problem is with in PI. If you are noticing the lag outside PI as well, then it's a network problem.

As it is your production server I am not sure if you can install such clients but this will help you narrow down the problem quicker.
