How to apply Jave patches in Netweaver 04.

Hi All,

I would appreciate if some one can provide me the step by step procedure , how to apply JAVA patches in Netweaver 04. NOT 04s

I know in N/W 04s you can use JSPM and apply java patches but JSPM is not there in 04. should I use SDM to load java patches.

Please reply....

Hi Atul,

Yes, you need to use the SDM in this case.

Start up SDM in ~/SDM/program and deploy them with this tool. Beware that it can take ages to deploy, so be patient

once you feel, your problem is solved, you can see assign points at the left of your answer, there u can give points according to your satisfaction.

Hello Atul,

If you have SDM I hope you may not need JSPM for applying J2EE patches.

SDM will also allow you to apply patches of XI and other JAVA based solutions.
