What is the difference between MOLGA country grouping and User Group? Are they same all the time. Suppose MOL is 40, do i need to give UGR also 40? What are the cases in which MOL differs from UGR?

Hello,

Molga and Usergroup are two different concepts.

MOL defines you default country, for example when you access a table molga depending (see table v_t512t).

UGR defines you default usergroup, for example when you defines the Action menu (see table V_588B_M).

This allows you to define, for example, two different customizations for the Action menu depending on the usergroup for the same country.

Hi veera

Mol is the parameter you use in SU01 which is Molga Country grouping if you are doing some hiring action for a particular country you have to do set this Mol in the user profile and for a ugr is used when you do a particular action what are the infotypes that should come in sequence and we assign to this to the user group or reference user group.. this particular user group we will assign it in the su01 user profile as a UGR Parameter.... So Molga is set for default country grouping and UGR is for infotype actions...

bye
