process chain

hi m trying to run a cube through process chain.

this cube is bn updated through dso .

i have done till dso but i m not sure hw to update cube further through process chain can anyone let me know the step .

load one infopak of dso

load other infopaof dso

data store data

generated from loading zpak.....

further processing

plz let me know wt will b the next step to lad data to cube

You can either use the Further Update process type from the process chain predefine types or you can also use Infopackage which will load from dso to cube. Drag and drop this infopackage and link it the other chain.

for performance reason do that following:

delete index

load data using the infopackage

create index

Hi Shelz,

When u r loading data from dso to cube..no need of infopackage..

In process chain

1.After loading data to dso.

2.Activate

3.Delete index(for cube)

4.Data tranfer process( to load data into cube)

5.Create index

use DTP. Data Transfer process step when u want to load data from ODS to CUBE. It is under Load Process and Post-Processing tab.
