LSO and CRM

How is LSO prepared for cooperation with CRM from external use (external participant such a customer) point of view (like external LSO facing)?

The intention of LSO implementation is provide web-based training not only for employees but also for external participants (e-learning web-shop). We need to use info between LSO and CRM to create participant account in an e-learning portal both for existing ones in CRM and creation new ones accounts via self-registration (user identity management). And also completed courses transfer from LSO to CRM is required. Is there some analytics for these purposes (e.g. participant behaviour within the e-learning portal)? Is there any support for loyalty program for using e-learning portal?

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no integration between LSO & CRM. A few years ago, SAP had begun a project to enable this integration and create a commercial version of LSO but this was dropped.

The integration you would need would all have to be custom-built.

However, early this year SAP Education created its own "commercial version" where you can actually buy classroom and e-learning training using LSO. It did not leverage CRM but rather more of the SD module. It is hoped that the LSO product management group will at least incorporate the changes done for SAP Education into the standard LSO product.
