Dear Experts/Gurus,
I have a problem to count the total tables in SBO 2004A and SBO 2005A.
I try to count based on information in SQL server 2000 enterprise manager and SQL server 2005 and then using choose from list in query generator (export to excel).
For SBO 2004A (demo database general), there are 701 tables, this info I've found in the enterprise manager, but in choose from list of query generator, there are 717 tables. For SBO 2005A, the tables are 807 in SQL server 2005 but in the choose from list in query generator, there are only 714.
Why could it be different one another ? I appreciate your answer. TIA
Rgds,
That is because the client filter some tables from the query generator because they contain "none business logic data"... An example it the CUFD table that contains data about how the userdefined fields are created..
Just beacuse you can't see the table in the Choose From List does not mean that you can't use it if you type it in manulally in the query... her all table can be accessed
