decimal issue in UOM

Hi,

My client wants to have materials maintained with weight and volume data having decimal places more than 3.For example weight he wants to maintain is 0.566666667 or 0.000344KG.

The volume also he wants to maintain with more decimal places.

For example he wants to have volume maintained as 0.001289167 or 0.000195 M3.

As per standard practice we maintain as 3 decimal places.From CUNI we can make changes but is it advisable to do so ?
