Passing Parameters dynamically to VC from Portal

I want to create some portal ivews based on same query and integrated to different pages but with 2 different parameters(input to query). How can I pass them to VC so that one query will be there for all iviews.(with different parameters)

Can I pass them from Portal to VC eg if user select a page and role, can I send both of them as parameters to VC to run a query?

Any have suggestions ?
