BPC 10.1 EPM Add in Security for folders

Hi All,

We are using IBPF S4 HANA 1511 and EPM Add in for adhoc reporting.

I have created team folders in BPC admin and assign the users to the teams.

My question is how we can make theses folders read only ?

We are using SAP BI Analysis authorization for Analysis Office reports.

Anyone know which authorization object we can use to secure the workspace for EPM in embedded BPC ? Please advise

Hi Vadim,

Thank you for taking the time to answer . In EPM we have Public and Admin folder as standard. I have created two more folders one for USA and one for UK. What i am trying to achieve is to restrict the USA and UK folders for some users just to access the reports from theses folders. User should not have access to save reports in theses folders. I have tried to restrict the read only access from team admin option typical BPC way but it wont work. for instance i am going to BPC Admin ---> Security --->Team Click UK Folder and select user as team lead when i select the user and click on save the check box for team lead goes away.

Please advise

Second - I am unable to understand what are you doing! How "team lead" is related to the issue??

Please provide a clear description of your requirements and illustrate with screenshots.

What do you mean by read only? What do you want to achieve?

I have tried this but in IBPF this option does not work.

I think you can secure the folders via. team admin option for the team. Regards. Terri
