I am having a problem with the time statement.I am using ESS 1.0 and ECC 6.0.And the time statement we are using is SAP_TIM_99_0001 for time statement.How we can set the time period shown in the time statement is there any configuration for that or it is just populated by sap?
You can create a seperate time statement form via transasction code PE51 and copy the one report from country code 10- US or 40 -india or any other statement whichever you feel to display in ESS. Save it a variant and call this variant through the report RPTEDT00.
You can create a transaction code for that smart form and call it directly in ESS.
This is the function module /1BCDWB/SF00000019
which is called when you call the smart form SAP_TIM_99_0001 so you need to copy them to Z and in the function module you can default most of the values like company code,PA, PSA and other begda and enda .....if you want to show it for a fixed period. Or once you call the fucntion module give the access to the user to input the data required and on execution he will get the form as you desired.
Note : Both the smart form and Function module copy to Z and then do your customizing.
So you just create a transaction code directly to this fucntion module and call the same in ESS.
