How to Check-in code from NWDI DC Local to NWDI DC

Hello,

I have a Web Dynpro DC, which I created on track. Without logging onto the NWDI, I saved some of code. When My colleague has imported the DC from the Dev Configuration, He doesnt have the changes that I did.

So, how Can I synchronize/export or checkin the locally saved NWDI DC onto NWDI DC?.

Thanks,

sunita.

Hi Sunita,

You have a context menu option under DTR-> Add, to add the locally created DC to the central repository. While adding, you will be prompted for an activity. Add all the DC to this activity, checkin and activate. Your colleague will then have access to your changes.

thanks,

Vineeth

Hi Sunita,

after you are done with the coding, you will have to checkin the activity, activate it and then release it to be imported to consolidation system.

So inorder to checkin your activity,

go to Development Configuration perspective and in the Open activities window, select the checkin tab from the context menu of the activity. Once it is checked in, it will prompt you to activate it.

After activation, your DC will be moved from inactive DCs to active DCs. After the activation is successful, your colleague should be able to get the latest copy of your DC.

Hope this helps.
