Hi SDNites,

I am copying all objects from one SWCV to other and getting a message while doing this activity "Referenced objects from other namespaces are not copied". Can you please advise what does this mean?

I have used IDOC on source side which I have imported manually in other SWCV and also changed Message Mapping and Operation mapping where these are being referenced.

Regards,

Abhi

Hello Abhishek,

I think some objects used are referred from other namespaces.

for example message type is referring to data type in other namespace instead of same one as of message type.

Original Objects are not referring to any other namespace. But after copying, there are references to Original namespace like IDOC, Message mapping in Operation Mapping, Data types of original message type in copied message type. Is the message because of these?

Yes, Could be.

What are the objects that are being referred to the other namespace?

Check for data type and Imported archives(might be some UDF) is using it, You can move it accordingly.

Hi Abhishek!

Did you copy dependent objects as well?

Hi Abhishek!

In such case please check the dependecies inside your copied objects.

I guess PI doesn't change it. For example, if you copy Message Type, check if the Data Type inside it belongs to new namespace. If not, change it accordingly.
