Change process chain

Hi all,

I have a process chain running in production. I need to make modifications in the process chain. How should I go about this ? should I cancel all the existing jobs for this process chain and then do the modifications or how ?

I tried modifying by re-arranging the order of execution of one of the Infopackages in the process chain, I see a new extra process type like "BI process unknown" or something like that.

so i am confused.
