how to integrate SAP with SWIFTNet

Dear All, out customer want to integrate their ECC system with SWIFTNet to exchange data with different banks. I have no such experiences before. I found some information in community, but i need something more detail. eg.:

1. if i want to integrate with SWIFTNet, how to prepare the testing environment? who will be responsible for this action?

2. except communicate with SWIFT, should i need to communicate with banks?

3. if there are sth others need to be know before start integration, please feel free to let me know.

Hi Calvin,

1. You need to get the standard Content into PI ESR as well as deploy Swiftnet Modules Refer note : 1574235. And refer the installation and configuration guide in the sap marketplace.

2.No you only need to communicate with swift . The communication from SwiftNet to Bank is taken care by Swiftnet consultant.

3.Yes you need to check with your BCM consulant about the parameters file which you need to generate along with payment file.

However this is not mandatory as in some scenarios BCM itself generates Parameter as well as payment file in this case as a PI consultant all you go to do id split the parameter and payment file using standard content and send it to SwiftNetwork.
