In this case on account of it being outside /rj container the application is not using

    Hi Rocky,

confusion here: Why the term "container" NetWeaver is a Java Web Application server running servlets, "irj" is the central portal servlet.

So when you deploy your application to the server, it will run under the name ("container") you gave it via web.xml.

Its a little differnt with webdynpros, they by default run under /webdynpro/.... but thats a different story.

    Hope that helps
