How to display variables in report

Former Member

Hi team,

I created 2 variables from a single infoobject that is part of the Row. How do I display those variables in the report as a row. When I run the report, the report displays only the infoobject, not the variables that I created with the infoobject.

For Ex: The Char infoobject name is Version.

I created 2 variables- Version From and Version To.

How do I display Version From and Version To in Bex Analyzer.

Evenif the variables are displayed in Bex Query, its not coming to reporting side. Let me know the options.

Thanks

Anita

If you just want them to be displayed as informational fields, click on the 'Layout' button on the BW toolbar and choose Display Text Elements -> Variables.

If you want to display them in the column header(s) on the report itself, include the variables in the description of the key figure or characteristic by typing a "&" and then choosing the correct variable(s).

Hope this helps...
