How to connect BODS system to SLT Staging table(provided for Central Finance)

According to note 2462424 ,for Third party scenario, we need to extract and load data manually. so we are thinking of using BODS for extraction and loading of the data.

But the question is how to connect BODS system to SLT Staging table mentioned in the note.

Also, if not BODS, then how can we load data into the staging table, which are database table.

Well, you can simply create a custom RFC FM to insert/modify data in SLT staging table and then call the report in SAP Data services.

It is a two step approach.

1. First you configure SLT to write into the ODP/ODQ layer.
2. Second you use the SAP Application Datastore and configure it for the SLT Context.
