Hi PP Experts,
When im executing costing run (CK40N) for a semifinsihed material, im getting a error saying "Plant Does Not Exists"
What can be the possible solution.
Any idea in this direction will be awarded.
Regards
Vinod
Check the multilevel BoM of the material being costed using cs12. Check for all the materials in this list if anywhere a sp procurement key is there. If yes then check the configuration of the spl proc key if any plant is assigned which is nto defined.
Hope this should solve yr prob.

Dear Mr.Vinod,
Could you please tell me in CK40N,at which step u exactly get this error message.
R u trying to do the cost roll up for a list of materials?
If not do the cost estimate using CK11N.
Even If u have mentioned a Special procurement key,IF there exists a purchasing view for the material, then the system doesn't create an error.
Please revert to the forums if u find anymore problem.

if you created the costing run ,that time its self this error would display
its not alone with ck40n
pls check whether you can create the costing run and whether the plant is assign
with the costing and the matrl with the plant to be costing run
findout the above in solving your task

Vinod,
May be the material is assigned a sp proc key which has a plant assignment in it not defined.
Do you get the comp material number for which you get this error ?
