Information Field in Web application designer

Hi BI Gurus,

I'm working on Web application designer and new to it. I want to display the value of filter variables but without the description of it. I'm able to display the value but that's coming with description of variable that i have given in query. Please Help me out its urgent.

Try this..............

In WAD - > text element properties -> select the check box for display variable vaues -> below that u can find one more option list of text elements -> clk on (list) there you select the 4th option(variable value as key) in the drop down box.->

I used following steps :

1. dragged the information field, selected edit from context menu and choosen following options:

visibility : Visible [dropdown]

Check on Display Variables

Data Binding with my data provider DP_1

Text Element type : Variable Value.

Below that there is a option of variable , i selected it and there were 3 options present : Default value, Manual Value, Listed value

But no such option as u mentioned !

Please provide assistance regarding this.

Is there any option by which i can change the label of variable that im displaying in web application template. Its urgent if anyone can help.

Hi,

In the QD, choosee only the 'Key' in the properties on the characteristic.

Thanks for the prompt reply but that's doesnot solve my problem as i dont want to show the description of filter variable, i just want to show its value without label.
