What is internal length and external length in WE60. Please help soon..urgent..

Both are same ,but some times it may be differ depend upon business requirement.

Internal length - Data element

External length - WITH in IDOC FM ,they use different length

Look at Below link and it will be useful

Internal refers to the data element length and external refers to the element within the idoc structure, they are usually the same.
