Business Partner Migration into S/4 HANA: RDS-BAPI or IDOC?

Hi,

Looking into RDS for S4 I see that most Data Service jobs trigger an IDOC.

However, for Business Partners, an RFC Function RFC_CVI_EI_INBOUND_MAIN gets called, which creates the Business Partner in the S/4 System.

I was wondering why this RFC function gets called instead of the idoc

BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M09

I am familiar with the Idoc BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M09 and not sure if I must use the RFC function in the RDS.

Someone can explain?
