SAP MDG-F Cost Element not available in MDG system

Hi All,

I am new to MDG module, I’m developing Initial load for GL Account master using file upload using ACCOUNT and ACCCCDET entity through ACCLP1 change request type.

In MDG system we do not have cost element field to pass the values but in S4 HANA system it’s a mandatory for other Balance sheet account.

Kindly guide me ,how to load data into S4 system with cost element values from MDG system.

Regards,

Bala.

Hello,

https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2021246

Accounts and Cost Elements

MDG-F data model 0G contains separated entity types for accounts and cost elements. This modelling approach follows the SAP ERP release.

The changes that have been implemented by SAP S/4 HANA (Finance), especially the merge of (secondary) cost elements into the accounts are not reflected by MDG-F data model 0G. Nevertheless MDG-F ensures a seamless integration of its data model 0G with a SAP S/4 HANA (Finance) system. The SAP S/4 HANA (Finance) inbound reacts and transforms the incoming data to the data constellation and persistence required for SAP S/4 HANA (Simple Finance). At the time of data maintenance it does not matter which systems are the target systems (SAP ERP, SAP S/4 HANA (Finance), etc.) for the MDG-F replication. All target systems are supported in the same way. For example, a secondary cost element maintained in MDG-F will be enhanced by the SAP S/4 HANA (Finance) inbound with the required G/L Account Type = S (Secondary Costs).

Makes sure following notes are implemented.

2416163 - ALE IDOC COELEM doesn't return error codes

2449264 - ALE: Cost Element Inbound without Authorization for G/L Account

Thanks

Hi

Whether your CR type contain CE? If not, add this entity type and then try to replicate the data. Since CE is mandatory for Balance sheet GL accounts, you have to check your UI if the field is hidden?

If not, raise OSS note.
