  • Hi,

I'm not sure of WebI but can be consumed other reporting tools like Design Studio, Analysis for Office versions and Fiori.

    Thanks,

    Hi Jothi

Thanks for your reply. But how do you consume it directly from Design Studio or Analysis for OLAP. Really appreciate if you can point me to something. Thanks in advance.

I too have a very similar issue. I am trying to create a Webi report on a CDS view. Is there any direct way i can consume a CDS view from Webi (like a Relational Connection in HANA live or a BICS connection in BW)

Looks very strange that i need to create transient bex queries based on CDS views. Its like creating a SQL query for a relational data base and running it using the MDX engine. Seems like an intermediate step like we had a Univese on bex query or HANA views when these were initially rolled out.

It will be really great if someone can point me to any future road maps for this solution.

    Hi Bharathi,

You can use the transiet queries based on the CDS views. Simply create an OLAP connection and consume the queries.
