Incoming messages via adapter: Connection refused: connectException

Hi,

when a message via file-adapter is received, the runtime workbench message monitor shows the following error:

...connection AFW: com.sap...RecoverableException: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect.

Few days ago, it worked.

Help appreciated!

Hi,

probably some ports are now closed - check connection from XI machine server

to destination

thanks for the reply. How to check this connection?

Outbound message from R/3 via XI -> adapter engine are working well. Just incoming messages stop at this point mentioned above.

1) try running a netstat that way you know which port may be closed.

2) try telnet to the ftp port

3) log in to OS and try moving files yourself between folders.

Could also be an unrelated problem e.g. communication between AE and IE or some authorization issue disguised - you will need to run above tests first to narrow it down.
