This is maintain in operation detail screen. Go to routing select operation and go to opeartion details. I think this is in general data tab in recipe.

Hi,

Operation qty is your reqmt qty which comes from your demand.

Ex PIR 100PCS

MD02/MD04

Planned order will be created for 100 pcs.

convert it into Production order

Now your operation qty is 100pc.

Hi,

Base qty - When we create a BOM for a finish material the qty is 1, which we set in customisation. Create BOM by considering 1 qty of FG or SFG.At the time of creation you can chage the base qty.

Operation qty.- When we create PIR or sales order that qty is operation qty. When we take MRP run system read BOM & calculate qty as per BOM.

Base qty of FG is 1 & raw material is 1

If order qty is 100 then system will calculate required raw material i.e. 100.Create PR.

Hi,

Operation quantity is picked from the order quantity that you have keyed during order creation.

Base quantity is the quantity that you specify in the task list for defining the various time like machine, labour etc like for e.g for operation 10, the base quantity could be say 10 and w.r.t. this base quantity one will define the machine, and labour times for that operation 10. For operation 20 the base quantity could be different.

Now when you create and order, the order quantity is the operation quantity and the time required to complete that operation is calculated based on the base quantity from the task list that has being copied in the order.

I hope this resolves your query.

Thanks & Regards.
