I can not import BusinessParters with DTW 2005.0.16. For objects like Items ... it works as usual. With oBusinessPartners the Source data is shown empty, resulting in 0 imports and in 0 errors. If I open the dialog "Maintain Interface" to see the field database, it is empty within the oBusinessPartners.
How can I correct this?
Thanks
Franz
What patch level are you using?
This is a very important question because PL19 and PL20 came with a bug in the DI API regarding the business partner objects. You should have PL18 or PL22 or higher (remember PL22 is the last patch that permits upgrade to SAP B1 2007).
The second thing you need to check is that the correct DI API is installed for the corresponding Patch level.

I reinstalled it from the PL22 package and reinstalled the DTW from the PL22 package as well. No success so far. I checked the file versions and according the date and the internal version stamp they seem to be correct, PL22.
Any further idea how to get these BusinessPartners objects imported?
Thanks
Franz
I think you must install the latest patch level 29. Although you may try PL 23 and 27.
There are only 3 notes relate to PL 27 and approximately 38 notes to PL 23.
Based on this link :

I can't find there if the PL 22 must be the last patch for SAP B1 2005A SP 01 before upgrading to SAP B1 2007. Are there another sources tell that ? If nothing, you could try to install the PL 29 to repair the error.
Good luck.
Rgds,
Hello Jimmy,
I'll try the update to PL29 and keep everyone posted.
Something interesting to note:
Participation in SAP Business One 2007 A Ramp-Up
Please be aware that customers who install any of the following SAP Business One 2005 A SP01 Enhancement Packages or subsequent patches will not be able to participate in the SAP Business One 2007 A Ramp-Up program, due to US-GAAP regulations concerning expansion of software functionality during Ramp-Up programs. For these customers, an upgrade to SAP Business One 2007 A will only be possible when the software is generally available, which is currently planned for Q4 2007. The last regular SAP Business One 2005 A SP01 patch that can be applied in this case is patch 22.

Bram
Hi Bram,
Tks for your info. I think the note you wrote are dedicated to partners or customers or someone that want to participate in SAP B1 2007A ramp-up program. Will SAP AG produce the SAP B1 2007A SP 00 or SP 01 or what else PL 04 ramp up ? I think it won't. If yes, many problems are currently facing by customers who uses SAP B1 2005A SP 01 PL 23, 37 or 29 that release to fix the error in PL 22 will uninstall the SBO and request the money back. It will be disgraceful for SAP.
Rgds,
hi all,
Franz is right with his interpretation: It is about participating in the Ramp-up program for SAP Business One 2007 A:
Customer upgrade projects will not be able to participate in the 2007 A Ramp-Up if PL23 (or higher) on SAP Business One 2005 A SP01 have been applied. This is because Enhancement Package content has been introduced with PL23 which, due to compliance rules that SAP must follow, SAP can only add to SAP Business One 2007 A once this new release has been assigned general availability status.
Necessary details for SAP partners can be checked at (as previously mentioned in this thread):

Hope this clarifies,
Heike
