problem with error

i got an error in f-02..................

the error is

ENTER INR/EUR RATE TYPE M FOR 09.07.2007 IN THE SYSTEM SETTINGS

Hi,

This exchange rate has to be maintained for every transactions you post in foreign currency. Perhaps, this may be your first entry you post in INR-EUR combintaion. Please maintain the exchange rate in OB08. Also, M has to be the average rate of the translation. Reward points if useful.

Maintain Exchange Rate (OB08)

Purpose

Use this procedure to maintain your foreign exchange rates.

Trigger

Perform this procedure when exchange rates have changed. It is especially important to ensure that your exchange rates are current when 1) you post or settle an item in a currency other than GBP or 2) you run your month end foreign exchange revaluation procedures.

Prerequisites

None

Navigation Path

Use the following Navigation path to begin this transaction:

• Select Processes è Accounting è Periodic Processes è Maintain Exchange Rates to go to the Change View "Currency Exchange Rates": Overview screen.

Helpful Hints

• If you wish to keep track of your exchange rates by date, then for each change in the exchange rate value you should create a new entry and ensure that the 'Valid from' date is accurate.

• Whenever you post a transaction involving a foreign currency, the exchange rate value used to convert the item to the company currency will be written to the document header.

1. Tcode: OB08

2. Double click on Maintain Exchange Rates to go to the Change View "Currency Exchange Rates": Overview screen.

3. Scroll down the overview screen until you reach the required entry

4. Complete Dir & Indir Quot

5. Save

Hi

Use transaction SM30 to maintain exchange rates table.

Select table V_TCURR.

Create rates for the combination that you were trying to input.

and maintain the exchange rate for the Ex Rt Type : M in the combination of the INR/EUR
