Hello everyone,
I created an SAP Installation Server and successfully sent out upgrades and updates using the silent mode, albeit with a few issues because people were using the system. In light of the recent Security Notes that require the GUI to be upgraded to 7.40 PL13 (we're currently on 7.40 PL10, going to 7.40 PL14), I've been requested to send the updates out showing the process dialog. Is there any way, whilst using the 'Configure Automatic Workstation Update', we can change the command line? Actually, not even using the AWU service, is there any way of changing the 'Command line that will be executed', on the 'Remote Execution' window, as it's just set to 'NwSapSetup /silent /update /package:"[package]"' and can't be altered? Or is the process dialog mode only for installations using SCCM and when creating Package Definition Files?
Thanks in advance,
Mark.
Hmm...slow news day.
Anyway, I may have made this more garbled than it should be.
Does anyone know of a way to alter the 'Command line that will be executed' from silent mode to no dialog mode when sending out SAP GUI updates via an Installation Server?
Thanks a lot.
